GLAP students are required to study liberal arts in English. The spirit of liberal arts, which pursues academic study without being limited to a particular field of specialization, develops the ability of the students to think critically and lead positive changes with regards to various issues, and live in harmony with others who have different values. It is our GLAP that is in demand in today’s chaotic modern age, and for future. After spending the three semesters at Rikkyo, they spend one academic year studying abroad at our partner institution as part of the curriculum, and return to engage in a specific field of studies among Humanities, Citizenship, and Business. Through GLAP academic studies and experiences, the students acquire the abilities needed to perform in a variety of global settings after graduation, such as the ability to communicate in English, the ability to think critically, and the ability to express themselves. |
