Description:

This is a fully integrated programme between Law and Irish. You will study the Law of Northern Ireland and Ireland while also studying modern language and culture.

The degree includes time spent in summer schools in the Gaeltacht which provides a unique opportunity for linguistic development. Proficiency in an additional language, significantly enhances your employability.

    Entrance requirements:

    A-level

    • AAA including A-level Irish grade A
    • A maximum of one BTEC/OCR Single Award or AQA Extended Certificate will be accepted as part of an applicant's portfolio of qualifications with a Distinction* being equated to a grade A at A-level

    Irish Leaving Certificate

    • H1 H1 H2 H2 H2 H2 including Higher Level grade H1 in Irish

    Graduate

    • A minimum of a 2:1 Honours Degree, provided subject requirements have been met.

    Note:

    All applicants must have GCSE English Language grade C/4 or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University.
