Description:

Environmental science is a rapidly evolving field that combines technology and engineering. Issues within this field include climate change; air, soil and water pollution biodiversity loss; and resource depletion. Also included are sustainability, corporate and social responsibility, and the health and well-being of people in the workplace. 

Graduates of this program will gain knowledge and skills that includes a significant understanding of environmental science and its intersection with technology. The program emphasizes problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as teamwork. Coursework also includes communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders. Students will participate in the development and implementation of environmental management plans and other major projects.

    To be eligible for admission, you must possess the following:

    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering (civil, chemical, geological, environmental), earth sciences, general science, environmental science, chemistry, microbiology or biology, environmental studies, or planning.

    OR

    • An advanced diploma, diploma, or equivalent in civil, environmental, chemical, architecture or constuction engineering technology.

    Test Scores:
    • Canadian Academic English Language Assessment or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based)
