APAC's Bachelor of Musical Theatre is a dynamic, industry-focused programme designed to inspire and develop emerging artists. Guided by industry experts, students develop essential artistic skills and gain insights into the entertainment industry. The Bachelor of Musical Theatre provides specialised training in acting, singing and dancing, while also developing students choreographic, composition, directing and production management skills. In this way students develop as versatile performers who are both stage ready, and have the skills needed to sustain diverse, long-term careers. |

- Apply to APAC’s Bachelor of Musical Theatre through an official APAC International Education Agent. Our Agents will guide you through the application process and may assist you with your student visa application if your admission application is successful.
- APAC assesses Genuine Student (GS) requirements as part of the Australian Government’s Simplified Student Visa Framework (SSVF).
- If you meet the academic entry requirements, you will receive a Letter of Offer conditional on satisfying APAC’s audition and Genuine Student (GS) requirements.
- After a successful audition and satisfaction with all conditions of offer, you will receive an unconditional Letter of Offer.
- Accept your Letter of Offer and pay the required fees.
- APAC will issue you with an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) so that you can apply for a student visa.

| Additional Admission Requirements: | Applicants must demonstrate their performance capabilities in a musical theatre context. Applicants must submit the following video recordings via WeTransfer to [email protected]: - A dance routine within 1-2 minutes to demonstrate your ability to perform in either of the styles (ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, lyrical, modern, Latin or musical theatre).
- Two Musical Theatre songs within 2-3 minutes demonstrating contrast in style, mood, or vocal technique. It should also include movement and characterisation.
- A monologue within 2 minutes (from the APAC list) without a script.
- A personal statement within 1-2 minutes where applicants share a little about themselves, including name, location, job or hobbies or your school.
- Discuss the inspiration behind pursuing Musical Theatre - the value and impact of your art form on audiences, industries and/or communities.
- Discuss your favourite Musical Theatre performer or favourite Musical (artistic influences)
- Briefly outline your Musical Theatre training journey, experiences and goals.
Points to be noted: - Applicants are advised to choose age, experience, and culturally appropriate content.
- Recording of videos must be completed in one continuous take. Each piece must include a brief introduction of relevant information (title, where it is from, composer/choreographer).
- The assessment of videos will be conducted by an assessment panel comprising at least two qualified assessors.
- Panel members will make informed and consistent judgments when assessing auditions using clear criteria.
