Radiologic technologists perform diagnostic medical imaging examinations and therapeutic treatments. Radiologic technologists may specialize in radiography, magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, bone densitometry, breast sonography, radiation therapy, nuclear medicine technology, mammography, cardiac interventional radiography, quality management, vascular sonography and vascular interventional radiography. Registered Radiologic Technologists can pursue an ARRT credential as a Registered Radiologist Assistant (R.R.A.), as well. |
