Data scientists are more involved on the front end of data, and they contribute to numerous fields by:
- Gathering organizing and structuring large data sets from a variety of sources - Using statistical tools to extract meaningful information from large data sets for specific applications - Analyzing data to interpret information displayed in multiple different forms - Developing algorithms and new ways to gather and interpret data |
