The Master of Science in Exercise Science is a cross-discipline program designed to provide graduates with the knowledge and skills to implement nutrition, sports performance, sport psychology, exercise and health promotion programs for a diverse population. This 36-credit curriculum was developed to combine exercise physiology with three popular areas of study: sports nutrition, athletic performance and inclusive fitness. The program also offers academic flexibility with a wide range of elective courses. Within the program, students have the opportunity to prepare for Nationally recognized professional certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). Additionally, an active research laboratory allows students a fully immersive learning environment. |
