The general objective proposed for the cycle of studies is to allow the acquisition of knowledge, skills and attitudes to promote the acquisition of competencies based on scientific evidence, necessary for the effective performance of the functions of the Osteopath, with responsibility, professionalism and autonomy.
In this context, the specific objectives focus on 3 major domains:
cognitive - demonstrate knowledge of the structure and functioning of the human body and be able to identify situations of dysfunction and pathology; psychomotor - demonstrate the ability to perform a set of therapeutic evaluation and intervention techniques that focus on the different structures and movements affected, with a view to restoring its functionality; and affective - demonstrate capacity and autonomy in decision-making during its intervention and clinical reasoning based on the practice |
