Forensic psychology–the intersection of psychology, law and criminal justice through a forensic lens–prepares you for a career in law enforcement, victim advocacy, legal research or the psychological treatment of offenders.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.

    High School Coursework Requirements:

    • English: 4 years (4 units)
    • Mathematics: 3 years (3 units)
    • Coursework must include logarithms and exponentials if students are planning to take General Chemistry as part of their program.
    • Science: 3 years (3 units), including Chemistry.
    • Required Social Science coursework: 1 course from any of the following: Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Economics, Political Science, or History.
    • Please note in your application if your high school does not offer any of these courses.
