Description:

The interdisciplinary biomedical science program enables cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary training that positions you for careers in biomedical sciences, as well as health-related professions.

The interdisciplinary biomedical science program addresses modern priorities in biomedical science education and will provide you with student-centric, multidisciplinary training to pursue careers within a spectrum of science-based activities. You will build research skills that will serve as a strong basis for graduate training in biomedical sciences and health-related professional programs such as medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine and pharmacy.

  •  Grade12 Chemistry 
  •  Grade12 Physics 
  •  Grade12 Mathematics  or  Grade12 Precalculus 
A minimum grade of 70% is required in each of these courses.

Pre-calculus mathematics is a required prerequisite of university-level mathematics courses in this program. If you are interested in this program, and have the option to take pre-calculus mathematics at your school, it is highly recommended that you do so, or enroll in pre-calculus mathematics through distance education/another institution or complete MATH 102 at USask to fulfil the prerequisite requirement during your first year.
Test Scores:
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) or DuoLingo or Pearson Test of English (Academic) or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration)
