This flexible major helps you explore your career options in the health care industry and prepares you to meet your personal goals, whether they involve graduate-level education or an entry-level career in health care. Students in the health science major go on to graduate programs in occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing, physician assistant, medicine, biostatistics, public health, and other health-related fields, as well as careers in areas such as health insurance, hospital administration, pharmaceutical sales, and scientific writing. |

- 4 of Grade12 English or Grade12 Mathematics or Grade12 Social Science or Grade12 International Languages or Grade12 History
Your course distribution must include the following coursework for admission:
- Four years of English
- Three years of math (at least through Algebra 2)
- Two years of history or social science
- If your intended major requires extensive science preparation, you should take at least one additional laboratory science course
- Two consecutive years of foreign language
