Our LLB (Hons) Law with Psychology degree explores two fascinating disciplines which both deal with human behaviour. Psychology seeks to understand and modify our actions, while the purpose of law is to control them.
Studying psychology alongside the legal topics required for a qualifying law degree gives you a unique perspective of juvenile, civil and criminal justice systems. Understanding of the criminal personality could inform crime prevention and punishment, while behavioural psychology can shed insight on common social issues that lead to law-breaking, such as violence or substance abuse.
