Students who desire careers as Early Childhood Educator IIs (ECE IIs) will acquire the knowledge and skills required to work with children, aged newborn to 12 years old, through this provincially accredited* and comprehensive diploma program.
Working closely with instructors, and in groups, students develop their understanding of child development, guiding techniques, and play-based curriculum, including art, music, literature and science, while learning to create and implement meaningful, age-appropriate, culturally diverse and inclusive programming for children. |

Manitoba high school diploma (or expected completion within 45 days of the program start date), or equivalent, including:
- Grade 12 Math (40S) with a grade of 50 per cent or higher, or equivalent.
- Grade 12 English Language Arts (40S) with a grade of 65 per cent or higher, or equivalent.
