| The application of appropriate financial technology and analytical skills is a growing priority, particular for finance professionals. In increasingly competitive environments, professionals within the financial sector require a more detailed view of their organisations financial data. This programme is designed with inputs from leading industry professionals and strikes a balance between the mechanics of analytical methods and the dynamic finance-related decision-making process. We aim to develop our students as finance professionals of the future who, equipped with analytics skills, have the appropriate attributes to reduce risks through making smarter, timely and more accurate financial decisions.
Students will gain technical data science skills and non-technical management skills along with a deep understanding of the application of analytics within the context of financial management. You will have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with specialist business analytics software, SAS, who are considered one of the world’s leading industry standard data analytics software providers, widely used in the business world. You'll also learn about additional tools and techniques necessary for managing your self-development as a manager in alignment with your career aspirations in an inspiring and innovation led environment.
