The 34 week Sheet Metal Worker (Pre-Employment) Diploma is an apprenticeship program that was developed by the government and approved by the Provincial Apprenticeship and Certification Board. The program provides students with a wide range of skills that are needed to work as a first-year apprentice. Sheet Metal Workers fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal products (Source: National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2016).
