Qualified Design and Technology teachers are in high demand across the U.S. PYPA has developed an innovative TAR Design and Secondary Technology programme that will give those entering the teaching profession the confidence to better understand their subject and in their understanding of how to teach it. This programme will prepare you to make a positive contribution to the learning communities you will join. PYPA's Secondary Design and Technology PGCE programme is underpinned by regional, national and international research. You will learn how to make Design and Technology meaningful, interesting and fun and also how to analyse your own development and that of your pupils.
PYPA's integrated and rigorous PGCE program will challenge you academically and professionally. The PGCE Design and Technology programme aims to develop a critical understanding of the nature of Design and Technology and its placement in the school curriculum. You will be encouraged to research and test your own approaches to Design and Technology pedagogy to identify those approaches that work best for you and the pupils you teach. PYPA is dedicated to developing research-directed reflective practitioners who can demonstrate creativity and flexibility in their teaching so that learners develop their subject qualification in an environment that stimulates enjoyment. |

Bydd llwyddo i gwblhau rhaglen Addysg Gychwynnol i Athrawon Partneriaeth Ysgolion Prifysgol Abertawe’n arwain at (i) ddyfarnu Tystysgrif Addysg i Raddedigion (TAR) ac (ii) argymhelliad ar gyfer Statws Athro Cymwysedig a chofrestriad gyda Chyngor Gweithlu Addysg Cymru. Dylai ymgeiswyr ymgynghori â’r gwasanaeth addysg neu’r adran lywodraeth berthnasol er mwyn holi a fydd cwblhau cwrs TAR mewn prifysgol yn y Deyrnas Unedig yn caniatáu iddynt addysgu yn eu gwlad gartref neu mewn gwlad arall y tu allan i’r Deyrnas Unedig.
