| Today’s paramedics must be both highly skilled first responders and compassionate caregivers. In this program, students will build the diverse skillset needed to succeed in the field with a focus on medical theory and techniques, social and communication skills, critical thinking and effective decision-making. Training includes clinical and field placement components, as well as an emphasis on physical and emotional wellness. Students are provided with access to SGEI’s healthcare lab and practice space to support their learning. |

- 2 of Grade12 English or Grade12 Mathematics
- 2 of Grade11 Biology or Grade11 Chemistry
If you have an Emergency Services Fundamentals Certificate, you can be admitted to the Paramedic program without the other prerequisites. |
