This innovative degree will allow you to gain the skills you need to build a portfolio career in the arts. Our practical Theatre courses are designed in collaboration with industry to put you centre stage. We offer outstanding hands-on training in acting and performance, design and technical theatre, directing and producing for theatre. You will have the flexibility and creative freedom to test your creative powers in our theatre spaces on campus as well as partnering with venues and companies across and beyond London.

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.

    Undergraduate applicants from Canada will need to have completed one of the following:


    • International Baccalaureate Diploma
    • High School Diploma or Secondary School Diploma or a Diplôme d'Etudes Collègiales (DEC) with at least 5 grade 12 courses with 60% or higher depending on the subject you are applying for
    • High School Diploma and scores of 3+ on at least two Advanced Placement exams
    • Satisfactorily completion of one year of college/university level study with minimum GPA of 3.0
    • Professional Diploma from a technical school (2 years post-secondary in a specialised field of study)



    Students who have completed the two-year Associate degree may be eligible for advanced standing onto the second year of an undergraduate degree course.

    Applicants will normally be invited to attend an interview day of moving, thinking, making and playing in our exciting theatre facilities on our Hendon campus. You'll get to work with our staff and current students, meet other applicants, and together we'll create a piece of theatre and showcase it at the end of the day. If you cannot attend an interview day, please submit a self-tape (video). This will either be a recording of you performing an extract from a theatre text of your choice (approx. 2-3 mins) that should demonstrate your ability to perform a memorised script and make clear performance choices, or be a recording of you telling us about a production you’ve worked on or seen and what role you took (or would love to take one day) and why (max. 5-mins).
