Faculty:Graduate Studies
Field of Study:Pathology/Pathologist Assistant
Length:2 Year(s)

The demand for pathologists and pathologist assistants across North America continues to grow with increased use of tissue diagnosis and the related knowledge base. The Pathology (MSc) program offers two paths to earn an MSc degree for Honours Science graduates who have a strong background in biology: a research-based program and thesis, or a practicum that leads to a paramedical designation as a pathologist assistant where you’ll be responsible for tasks required to practice anatomical pathology.

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
To be considered for admission to the Pathology (MSc) program, you must have a four-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with a minimum GPA of 3.2 in the last two full years of study.
