Description:

Technology continues to transform healthcare systems across the globe and its importance continues to grow. If you're excited to learn more about the applications of technological and engineering solutions to gaps in human healthcare, this is the course for you. You'll balance lectures, workshops and seminars to learn the fundamentals of mathematics, medical science and computer programming and further enrich your knowledge with courses in management and entrepeneurship, to learn how to apply your knowledge to business. There's a strong emphasis on practical work throughout the course, and you'll gain real-world experience from an internship in your second year. At the end of the course, you'll complete a design project, where you'll design, make and test an engineering solution to a biomedical problem.
