The MSc in Marine Operations is exclusively available for graduates of the Lloyd’s Maritime Academy and North Kent College qualifying Diploma courses to continue their study to postgraduate level. This masters gives you the unique opportunity to build on your maritime qualification and progress your existing shipping knowledge and practical expertise.

This MSc has been specifically designed for senior professionals in the Marine Operations industries enabling you to apply your existing specialist knowledge to the ever changing global industry and develop your ability to manage strategically.

Application Notes : You must have competence in English language to study with us. The most commonly accepted evidence of English language ability is IELTS 6.5 (with minimum 6.0 in all components). We also normally require Grade C GCSE or an equivalent qualification.

Those wishing to undertake the MSc in Marine Operations (Continuation) must have already studied one of the following with Lloyd’s Maritime Academy and North Kent College: Diploma in Marine Surveying, Diploma in Ship Superintendency, Diploma in Small Craft Surveying, Diploma in Marine Accident Investigation, Diploma in Marine Engineering, or Diploma in Surveying of Offshore Floating Units.


Applicants must also have: a second class honours degree or above, and a minimum of three years’ managerial or professional experience at the appropriate level in an occupation closely related to Marine Operations.
