Description:

The LLM in Climate Change and Energy Law offers you the opportunity to gain specialist knowledge in the field of energy and climate change issues at the domestic and international levels. You will study key legal issues underpinning the global response to the climate change problem and the intersection between energy exploitation, sustainable development and climate change mitigation. As the world’s energy demand and consumption continue to outpace supply, there are growing concerns about the impact of energy exploitation on the climate and the focus is shifting towards sustainable energy resources that will satisfy the growing energy demand while maintaining a clean environment and having minimal impact on the climate. This LLM will equip you with the tools relevant for a successful career in climate change mitigation, climate financing, energy justice, sustainable energy, human rights and green capitalism.
