Description:

Build on your education with this new graduate diploma. The 18-credit program is intended both for those who have recently completed an undergraduate degree wishing to enter a career in the field of records and information management, and for those already working in the field who wish to upgrade their qualifications. Students in the program complete one compulsory course before taking an additional five elective courses to fulfill the 18 credits for the graduate diploma. The program is open to graduates in all disciplines and is offered on a full-time and part-time basis.

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants to the graduate diploma program must have a master’s degree and a minimum cumulative average of 70% calculated in accordance with FGPS guidelines. All applicants must be able to understand speak and write proficiently either English or French and have a passive knowledge (ability to understand the spoken and written word) of the other language. Applicants whose first language is neither English nor French must provide proof of proficiency in one or the other.

    We require two reference letters, one of which should be from a referee who can attest to the autenticity of the writing sample; and a letter of Intent: a 500-word letter describing specific interests in the program, specifying course of study (course-based, thesis, co-op) you are intending to pursue if admitted.
