NVC is about connecting with ourselves and others from the heart. It is about seeing the humanity in all of us. It is about recognizing our commonalities and differences and finding ways to make life wonderful for all of us. With NVC we learn to hear our own deeper needs and those of others. Through its emphasis on deep listening, to ourselves as well as to others, NVC helps us to discover the depth of our own compassion. This language reveals the awareness that all human beings are only trying to honour universal values and needs. |
