Ashton’s Quebec Immigration Consultant Exam Prep course is offered to prepare members in good standing of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) to take the exam necessary for practicing immigration in Quebec. The exam is only offered in French and must be completed within a year of applying for recognition within Quebec.
The requirements for being a practicing immigration consultant in Quebec are different than in other parts of Canada. Immigration consultants in Quebec must be registered with the ICCRC, recognized by the Ministère of MIFI, and registered on the Registre québécois des consultants en immigration. Passing the Quebec immigration consultant exam and being fluent in the French language are two major requirements for becoming recognized by the ministère. After an immigration consultant is recognized by the ministère, they are added to the Registre québécois des consultants en immigration and they can then legally practice as a Quebec immigration consultant. |
