Description:

Often linked with human wellbeing, global development is centered on improving access to opportunities for people worldwide through efforts to reduce poverty and inequality, and to better health and education. With a focus on creating a better future for all, global development moves away from its association of development within the context of international aid to the study of underlying processes that address 21st century development challenges.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA in the last 60 hours of their bachelor's program. Alternatively, applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA in an applicable master’s program.




    All applicants must submit:
  • Graduate admission application and application fee.
  • Official transcripts.
  • Personal statement.
  • Up-to-date curriculum vitae or resume.
  • Letters of recommendation.
  • Additional Admission Requirements:
      An applicant whose native language is not English (regardless of current residency) must provide proof of English proficiency.
