Description:

This international health degree emphasizes important managerial concepts in health care, such as health care finance and economics, patient safety and more. You’ll have the chance to work with highly regarded faculty from two global research universities, and explore diverse approaches to health system management and health care problem-solving in an international environment. Students in the program can also build global awareness and cultural competence.

In the program, you can develop insights into both private and public health systems, providing a more comprehensive understanding of how these institutions operate around the world. Leading educators in the program bring to the classroom their experiences in clinical practice, policymaking, economic analysis and more.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA in the last 60 hours of their bachelor's program. Alternatively, applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA in an applicable master’s degree program.




    All applicants must submit:
  • Graduate admission application and application fee.
  • Official transcripts.
  • Personal statement.
  • Three letters of recommendation.
  • Up-to-date curriculum vitae or resume.
  • Additional Admission Requirements:
      An applicant whose native language is not English (regardless of current residency) must provide proof of English proficiency.

      The personal statement should describe the applicant’s career aspirations, why they are interested in this program, how this degree will help them achieve their goals and what they hope to contribute to the health care system after completing the degree.

      The three letters of recommendation should be from professional or academic sources. Letters demonstrating involvement in health care, community service or leadership are encouraged.
