Description:

Systems engineering is a broad field focused on the development and enhancement of all types of engineered systems, from phone networks and supply chains to business software. The International Council on Systems Engineering defines systems engineering as: “A transdisciplinary and integrative approach to enable the successful realization, use and retirement of engineered systems, using systems principles and concepts and scientific, technological and management methods.”

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants can apply to the program if they’ve earned a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, science, math or a related field from a regionally accredited institution. Additionally, applicants must have previously completed a calculus sequence with a calculus-based statistics course.

    Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA in the last 60 hours of their bachelor's program. Alternatively, applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA in the last 12 units of their post-baccalaureate transcript.

  • Application Notes : An applicant whose native language is not English (regardless of current residency) must provide proof of English proficiency. Academic prerequisites include calculus I, calculus II, probability and statistics and operations research.
