Description:

Sectors like healthcare, insurance and banking are highly regulated, requiring organizations in these areas to adhere to a variety of legal guidelines. Compliance law focuses on the rules and mandates these organizations must follow to continue operating safely and legally. Large institutions often establish compliance departments dedicated to creating processes that conform to these requirements and compiling data that verifies the organization’s track record.

Professionals with many different backgrounds work in this field and pursuing a legal education can support your performance on the job. A master’s in corporate compliance builds knowledge of the legal principles that underlie various business and healthcare regulations. This educational background can facilitate your understanding of how to create institutional frameworks that meet policy demands.
