Biomimicry is an emerging discipline in which practitioners leverage, or mimic, biological principles to find new and innovative solutions to contemporary challenges. This approach is inherently interdisciplinary. By studying biomimicry, you’ll attempt to learn from an evolutionary history that stretches back to the origin of life, some 3.8 billion years ago. A degree in biomimicry emphasizes that humans could stand to learn from the various adaptations in living species. Applicants are eligible to apply to the program if they have earned a bachelor's or graduate degree from a regionally accredited institution. Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA (scale is 4.00 = "A") in the last 60 hours of a student's first bachelor's degree program, or applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA (scale is 4.00 = "A") in an applicable master's degree program.
