Kanawayihetaytan Askiy is a uniquely designed program that is focused on providing a broad range of topic areas specific to the management of lands and resources on federal reserve lands.
First Nation communities deal with complex land management issues including land use planning, legal issues such as the duty to consult, reserve land transactions, community-based land transactions, natural resource transactions, environmental management and compliance in addition to other issues. |

Students can be admitted into this program with two prerequisite deficiencies that must be cleared before the second year of study. |
