Description:

The demand for 2D interactive games has never been higher and it continues to grow exponentially each year. As a result, so has the demand for the Visual Artists responsible for the concepts, characters and animations for these games. The Video Game Art program will teach you the key skills to create professional level game art and animation for the games of the future.

Studying within our collaborative team environment, our Video Game Art students will learn the process of creating the visual assets required for modern interactive games, from concept designs through final game art and animation.

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Depending on the recommendations of the admissions committee, you may also be required to provide or complete additional entry tests, including reading comprehension, writing skills, basic computer literacy and artwork. Acceptance into any McKenzie College program will be based on the strength of your academic performance, portfolio submission, and interview.
