Description:

The Language Training Institute provides an introduction to major world languages and cultures. Under the guidance of expert instructors using innovative methods, students in our classes engage in extensive practice with the essentials of language and gain insight into the cultures of those language communities.

The Languages program in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is administered by the Language Training Institute. It offers a minor in Italian Studies and certificates in Chinese, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
