You will take also undertake two placements in local social welfare agencies.
Learn from people influencing social care. We work with local social welfare agencies on joint projects. These include development, training and research initiatives.
You graduate ready to apply for registration as a social worker with the professional regulator, Social Work England If you decide to pursue a Social Work MA after this course, you may be able to do so by completing a dissertation once in practice at one of our partner local authorities. |

Your undergraduate degree can be in any subject. You must have GCSE Mathematics and English (or equivalent) at grade C or above. If you don't have the academic qualification for the course you may still be considered if you have substantial practical experience in social care or a related field. Our entry requirements are guidelines and we assess all applications on a case-by-case basis. |
