Designing characters and learning the basics of hand-drawn animation starts with drawing and we should know, drawing is all we do.
Learning by doing. The APW 2021 Online Summer Boot Camps are all about animation and characters. These offerings borrow focused lessons from our highly successful Animation Portfolio Workshop program and roll them into intensive 5 day workouts. We offer two opportunities to take the workshops. Summer Boot Camp I takes place from Monday July 5th to Friday July 9th and Summer Boot Camp II runs from Monday July 12th to Friday July 16th. Classes are from 10am to 5pm. This is a solid intro to characters and animation.
