Students are provided with the knowledge, skills and tools to successfully evaluate, organize, design and execute different types of events to serve both corporate and individual needs.
Students have the option of either a 4-week full-time practicum placement or a 4-week 160-hour capstone course.
A practicum is where the student will work full-time in the industry alongside industry professionals. A capstone is an authentic, work-based project that integrates and synthesizes the program learning outcomes to demonstrate mastery of the skills and concepts required for employment in the industry.
