Description:

This course leads to the award of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for the 11-to-16 age range, which qualifies you to be a teacher in secondary schools in England and Wales. At the University of East London, we believe every child is entitled to a high-quality PE curriculum which places their physical, social, cognitive and emotional needs at the core of its purpose.

As a PE student teacher, you will develop into someone who can be responsible for honing pupils' abilities in a range of democratic and lifetime movement activity choices - helping them to develop their movement literacy and important life skills, such as participation, voice, choice, and negotiation skills.
