Description:

The University of Alberta offers performance studies in piano, voice, strings and selected other instruments, as well as routes in piano pedagogy and wind band conducting.

    Prospective students should hold an Honours B.A. or B.Mus., or a recognized equivalent. In addition to materials requested by the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research, students wishing to enter the program in Performance are required to submit a statement of intent outlining their goals and qualifications for graduate study.

    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 600] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 60] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 100] or Michigan English Language Assessment Battery [min. 85]
