| Starting in Fall 2023, we will offer a Master of Public Health (MPH) in General Public Health degree. Our professional degree is designed to equip practitioners with the knowledge and skills needed to play roles in key public health functions such as assessment, planning, action implementation, and evaluation, in governmental, non-governmental, community-based, and industry settings across sectors and jurisdictions. You will have the opportunity to obtain an additional credential concurrently with your MPH degree by taking up to two graduate embedded certificates (GEC). You can complement your required courses with up to two graduate embedded certificates (GEC), a selection of electives or a combination of the two! |

A baccalaureate degree, or its academic equivalent, from an academic institution recognized by the University of Alberta. Grade Point Average (GPA) - A GPA of at least 3.0 on most 4-point scales, or B on most letter grading systems, based on your most recent two years or last 60 credits of full-time study (or equivalent) is required. Preference will be given to those applicants with experience in a public health related field. |
