Trillium College’s Dental Assisting diploma program is a dental program that gives you the theoretical knowledge, practical skills and experience needed to work competently, effectively and safely as a dental assistant.
Our Dental Assisting program is an in-depth dental assistant program offering a diverse knowledge base and current practical experience. Students will work as part of a professional team, alongside the dentist during their field placement. Students will learn a variety of skills throughout this dental program, including dental office procedures, basic computer applications, bookkeeping, appointment scheduling and intra-oral procedures. The curriculum of our dental assisting program is Healing Arts Radiation Protection (HARP) recognized, and the curriculum is approved by the National Dental Assisting Examination Board (NDAEB). Graduates of this program are eligible to write the NDAEB certification exam. (Exam dates are determined by the NDAEB). |
