Description:

This pathway identifies a recommended pathway for the first two years of study towards a four-year degree in Economics or a University of Victoria Commerce degree. Coursework consists of a Liberal Arts foundation in the humanities, social sciences, math, and statistics. This foundation helps develop a deep understanding of people in society and of the cultural, political, economic, and institutional impact of their decisions.

  •  Grade11 Foundations for College Mathematics (MAP4C)  or  Grade11 Applied Mathematics  or  Grade11 Principles of Mathematics  or  Grade11 Precalculus 
Applicants are required to have: Grade 12 or equivalent, and a minimum of 65% in English 12 or English 12 First Peoples or equivalent, and a minimum of 65% in Math 11 or equivalent (Foundation of Math 11, Applications of Math 12, Principles of Math 11, Pre-Calculus Math 11, MATH 080).
