Designing characters and learning the basics of hand-drawn animation starts with drawing and we should know, drawing is all we do.

Learning by doing. The APW 2021 Spring Break Online Boot Camp is all about animation and characters. It borrows focused lessons from our highly successful Animation Portfolio Workshop program and rolls them into an intensive 5 day workout. Classes take place Monday April 12th to Friday April 16th from 10am to 5pm. This is a solid intro to characters and animation.
