| The Counselling Diploma is the equivalent of a two-year (64 credit) program delivered in an intensive, one-year format. PLBC’s counselling programs train caring, healthy, Christ-centered counsellors. Students choose between the intensive diploma, completed in one year and the BA in Biblical Studies and Counselling (completed in three years). The program blends academics with practical training. Classes are supplemented with hands-on learning. Under careful supervision from a licensed counsellor, students have an opportunity to counsel their peers, be counselled in return, and observe the counsellor-counsellee relationships. |

| Additional Admission Requirements: | Applicants must submit evidence of graduation from secondary school on the academic program, or successful completion of the B.C. Adult Graduation Program (formerly GED), or the equivalent if applying from another province or U.S. state. Applicants must give evidence of personal faith in Jesus Christ, of living a consistent Christian life, and normally must have been actively involved in a local church for at least one year preceding their application.
