Taught jointly by the Schools of Physics and Astronomy and Business and Management, this programme draws on the strengths of each. We’ll give you a strong foundation in contemporary physics, taught by active researchers. You’ll also study business modules that support you in using science and engineering approaches in business scenarios, taught alongside other mathematicians, engineers and scientists.
Management modules have a particular emphasis on social responsibility, sustainability and good governance in the management of private, public and voluntary organisations. You’ll cover financial accounting, projects, entrepreneurship, business analytics, strategy, management and human resources. In your final year, you’ll further develop your own interests through an independent research project, supervised by one of our academic specialists in physics or astronomy. |
