Description:

The Bachelor of Science in Indigenous Environmental Science degree offers you an education focused on the natural environment, but infused with holistic Indigenous perspectives and cultures.

The Bachelor of Science in Indigenous Environmental Science degree is a joint program offered through the First Nations University of Canada and the University of Regina’s Faculty of Science. The degree is built around a solid core of science and Indigenous knowledge and is complemented by courses focusing on environmental and ecological topics with an Indigenous worldview. You will also acquire important knowledge in environmental economics and community development. For example, you will learn to not only characterize medicinal plants, but also to preserve and protect them.

  •  Grade12 Precalculus  or  Grade12 Mathematics 
  • 2 of  Grade12 Biology  or  Grade12 Calculus  or  Grade12 Chemistry  or  Grade12 Physics 
Applicants are required to have: English Language Arts A30 and B30, Pre-Calculus 30 or Math B30 and Math C30, and two of Biology 30, Calculus 30, Chemistry 30, Computer Science 30, Physics 30.
