The Dance Artist in Residence program is offered specifically for dance artists to have focused time for the creation and development of new works. The residency is designed for artists in the initial creation phase of a new work, which they’ll begin to create in our studio spaces.
This program is designed to bring a number of dance companies to work on their respective projects on campus at the same time. Participants will have the opportunity to share work in progress with other visiting dance artists during this initial creation phase. |
| Additional Admission Requirements: | Participants are selected by impartial adjudicators on the basis of their submitted material. In addition to artistic merit, consideration will be given to the likelihood that the artist's work will benefit from the program.
Applicants will be notified of their status as soon as adjudication is complete. |
