The search to find the right post-secondary school can be a daunting task for anyone. But, with the drive to investigate and the right tools, you’ll be sure to find the school that fits you best.

  1. 1. Start your search with a Career Practitioner or Guidance Counsellor to identify your career aim, academic and extra-curricular interests, and learning needs, then look for schools that offer the programs and services that match your goals.

  2. 2. Check out Post-Secondary and Career Fairs at your local high school or in your community, where student recruitment officers can answer your questions about the college or university they represent. The University of Lethbridge hosts Information Evenings in cities throughout Alberta, southeastern BC and Saskatchewan; find out when they’ll be in your community at ulethbridge.ca/future-student.

  3. 3. University and college websites are also a great resource for soon-to-be post-secondary students. The uLethbridge future student site has information about all the programs, opportunities, support and resources at both the Calgary and Lethbridge campuses: ulethbridge.ca/future-student.

  4. 4. One of the most important steps in selecting a school is to visit your prospective campus. uLethbridge offers a wide variety of on-campus programs, including Open House, Campus Tours, and Student-for-a-Day. If you have any questions or are interested in visiting our campus, please contact us at inquiries@uleth.ca or 403-329-2762. Happy hunting!
