Hard to believe there’s a career in Video Games? Believe it. Now let’s find you the right Video Game program for you.

Ever wish you could make your own video game and play it? Recently there has been a growth in the video game and interactive media industry. But before making a decision on a video game program triOS College would like to provide you with some helpful tips to consider when choosing a school.

  1. When it comes to the video game world there are two paths you can take. At triOS College we offer both Development and Video Game Design programs. The Development Program is geared for students looking for jobs as Programmers, 2D Video Game Developers, Mobile Game Programmers or Video Game Producers. If programming isn’t for you, Video Game Design Technologies is designed for students who want to be Video Game Level Designers, Video Game Graphic Artists or Interactive Media Designers.

  2. Having the option of an internship is always beneficial for students looking to enter the workforce right after their education. Learning what internships the school offers and with what companies is an important component when deciding on what school to attend. triOS College offers internship options with all of our video game programs with companies such as; XMG Studios Inc, Big Blue Bubble, Game Loft Toronto and many more.

  3. Look into what each school is going to teach you. Having knowledge and experience with different programming software is important. At triOS College we teach our students C++,C#, DirectX, Mobile Game programming, Unity3D and other software.

  4. Know what is included in your program fees. Asking what software and tools the school provides can make your experience less stressful. triOS College includes an Alienware laptop loaded with all the necessary software. We include it in the tuition so that our students get a better idea of what they will spend during their two years with triOS College.
