Event Description

Our Law Masterclass Series is an opportunity to experience what it’s like to study Law at university level through a range of online taster lectures.

Each session will be hosted by one of our academics and will include opportunities to ask them any questions you may have about studying at our School of Law.

We enter into contracts every single day without even realising it, whether we’re accepting Terms and Conditions on an app, buying a bus ticket, or grabbing a coffee. But what makes a contract legally binding?

In this session, Dr Aisha Shah will introduce you to one of the most foundational building blocks of the legal world. You’ll learn how the law decides when a deal is officially struck, what happens when someone backs out, and how courts step in when a contract goes wrong.
