We are excited for Discovery Day. This year the event will take place on February 27, 2020. If your school hasn’t already registered, talk to your counselor.

The day will begin with a quick Pep Rally in our VIU gym. After that students will be able to visit the Faculty Open House. Sessions will include active elements that will give students first-hand experience of what to expect when they enroll at Vancouver Island University. Faculty Open Houses will run from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. Students can grab some lunch and check out the Fun Fair. The day will end with an amazing and fun science show put on by the Chemistry and Welding departments.

Other event details to remember:

• Discovery Days is open to all students in Grades 10, 11 and 12.

• Lunch will be provided, at no cost to all students and chaperones attending the event.

• There will be a fun Instagram contest with amazing tech prizes, a $5 Starbucks card for each student and lots of chances for students to win VIU hoodies at the Faculty Open Houses.
